Multidisciplinary pain management

Pain is rarely one-dimensional. At Prijorità, our multidisciplinary model brings together relevant healthcare professionals to address the different factors that may contribute to a patient’s pain.

Depending on individual needs, patients may benefit from coordinated input from pain medicine, psychology and physiotherapy, with the aim of developing a personalised treatment plan focused not only on reducing pain, but also on improving function, mobility, coping strategies and quality of life.

Where appropriate, multidisciplinary input can be coordinated within the same care pathway, providing patients with a more streamlined and collaborative experience.

Pain Management Programme

Prijorità also offers a structured Pain Management Programme for individuals living with persistent or complex pain.

The programme takes an individualised, multidisciplinary approach and may incorporate medical assessment and treatment, physiotherapy, psychological strategies, education and ongoing support.

The objective is to help patients better understand and manage their pain, improve physical and emotional functioning, regain confidence in daily activities and enhance their overall quality of life.

Our philosophy is centred on treating the whole person, not simply the pain, through ethical, evidence-informed and coordinated care.
